Perspective is an exploration of the concrete and abstract dimensions. Infinity exists, but is never reached. One can only try to visualize the abstract through concrete dimensions in our three-dimensional world. Looking in Perspective, the rigid boundary of the gallery starts to blur, making us question our perception. Through the many overlapping lines of custom paper tubes that trace, scale, and repeat the Indiana limestone bricks of the gallery walls, an ambiguity in our spatial perception is created, where some views appear to expand to infinity and some to shrink toward us. No two views or angles are the same.
